I see a Jeremiah Baldwin married a Rebecah Totman in Billerica, Mass., on the date you gave. Billerica is very close to Tewksbury; in fact, I found Benjamin's and Sarah's marriage recorded in both towns on the same day: 2 Apr 1747. A Jeremiah Baldwin (I don't know if it's the same one) then married in New Bedford, Mass., in 1839 and 1846. If this is the same Jeremiah, it is possible that Rebecca (Totman) Baldwin might have died in New Bedford shortly before 1839. At least that would be a good place to look first. New England men did not like to live alone as widowers: they almost never learned to cook, for one thing.
As far as Rebecca's Totman roots, we are hampered by there being no good Totman family genealogy. I'll look in New Bedford Vital Records for her the first chance I get. And looking at the Massachusetts Marriage Index (which is far from complete), I see only one other Totman marriage in Billerica in the 1780's, a Sarah in 1789, which suggests that these women (Sarah and Rebecca) probably were not born there, but likely moved out there with their parents, probably from the area of either Scituate or Plymouth, which were the locations of the two main branches of the Totman family before the Revolution.
I actually have two Totman lines through my great great grandmother Jennie Frances Totman, in case you're interested, and they gave me two Mayflower lines, so I've put a lot of time into documenting that family.
