"Tote" ... as in a "tote bag."
However, it seems that a lot of American Toth's go with pronouncing it with the "h" rather than it remaining silent (ie: sounds like "both" with a "T"). As a child, my grandfather Toth pulled me aside when my uncle (his eldest son) started going with the short vowel (rhymes with "Cloth") to supposedly make it easier (he spent a lot of time on the phone) and laughingly said to me, "In Magyar it's 'tote' ... not that mangled name your uncle Charlie is using."
My dad goes with the Americanized pronunciation (which rhymes with "both") and I, out of respect to my grandfather and that impishly private moment he shared with me so many years ago.
