Thomas Torgeson born Vegoorseien, Norway abt. 1863.
Married Engar (Inger) Johanna Pedersen born in Logn, Risor, Norway abt. 1865.
I believe they had two children before they came to America, one was right before and his name was Torvel Torgeson. From family records it looks as though Thomas immigrated and settled in Tracy, Minnesota a few months before Engar came over with the child/children.
According to Torvel's citizenship document it says he was living in America since 20 Sept 1885 and Thomas Torgeson was naturalized on 1 June 1897 in Lyon County, Marshall, MN.
Some of their children, besides Torvel, include Charles, Alice, and Isabelle. I know there are more, I just don't have their names at this time.
I have them living in Beardsley, MN at one point as well.
