Thank you so very much!!!I do believe you have found me my family.James L. must have been my Gentelman from New York and Daniel and William must of been the brothers taken to New York for school. He must of put them in school to keep them out of harms way during the Civil War.Like I stated in one of my listings, they did come back to Ga. and Great Grandmother did keep in touch with them.
Mary's mother must of been the full blooded cherokee I always heard about, do you know anything about her besides this Tuttan name I can't seem to find anywhere.I figure it would now be spelled Tuton, but who knows, I'll keep looking.
Seems like Grandmother told me one time one of her mothers brothers had fought in the Civil War.Must of been James A.I thought it funny at the time because I knew Melinda was born in the mid 1800's and the only 2 brothers I had ever heard of were younger than her.I never heard of the sisters either
