Edmund Willoughby Toppan wrote about the Toppan Family and 125 settlers of Hampton, NH. This unpublished book, from 1845, supposedly is still in the family.
He mentioned that Henry Elkins lived on the Toppan farm
(Garden area). As Henry lived in Hampton between 1647-1669 it is assumed he lived at some point on that property prior to the Toppans and I am assuming at the end of Henry's life. Does anyone know where the original Farm (garden) was located in Hampton?
Any help would be appreciated.
