I really appreciate your reply. I believe a William Tootle, Tutle, Tuttle was the husband of Phereby, Fereby, Feriby, Pherraby Tootle, Tutle, Tuttle. He died abt. 1812 and his estate was administrated by Thomas Glenn and Enoch Tootle. His home was at "the mouth of the Buffaloe" around Hancock and Washington Co. Enoch was witness to at least one of Feriby's business dealings. The sale of some property west of Washington Co. It appears to me that Enoch was the only son of William and Phereby Tootle. He seems to have had several sisters. If you will look at his last census before his death, you will see the Harriett I mentioned and a Luvy Mathias living next to him. There is some documentation or other regarding a Lodowick Mathias having to do with Enoch. This makes me believe Harriett, Luvy, possibly the wife of Thomas Glen, and your Fereby was his sisters and they are represented in the census from NC. Please contact me at my email, and I'll relate some more info that might contact.
