Forrest, I remember a Forrest Toothman in my father's family. I think I met him, too. (You?) My father's name was Joseph Toothman, and my grandfather's name was Thomas Emery Toothman. I used to spend the summers with my grandparents, along with my brother Tommy and once Jerry. My grandma's name was Delphia. They lived on a hill' overlooking what they called "the holler." I remember someone named Doc lived in the holler, and we used to visit them by walking straight down through the woods. We never ran across a copperhead, luckily. Doc's wife served us a cake called "rough and tumbler" and it was delicious. My grandma made it too, but without the meringue. I think their grandson's name was Tommy McDonald, but I'm not sure. Could you be the Forrest I met, and aren't you a relative? Debi

P.S. We called the holler Doc's holler.
