Additional information: My 3Xgreat Grandfather was George Albion Toothaker son of Ephraim Toothaker. He was a member of an unsponsored Maine Volunteer Infantry Regiment during the Civil War. Perhaps you may have heard of it. The first Commanding Officer was Col Ames and the most famous was L.J. Chamberlain, the regiment is the 20th. He was in Co. K. My father had seen his surviving equipment as a young boy, his mom was Harriet Toothaker, my dad's middle name is Emerson, another family name. George and many other Toothakers are buried not far from Chamberlain. Incidentally, my mother's family has relations in Lisbon, I know the town well. I was born in Lewiston, my mother in Brunswick and my dad in Everett, MA
