hi,im searching for my roots and i was very surprised to find there seems to be a lotta tooths out there dong the same, so if you find we are linked or possibly linked in some way i would love to hear from you.
my father was thomas tooth m to catherine lawless both deceased,grandfather was richard tooth m to annie lowe
richard came from the staffordshire area his father was also a richard, whom we believe was married to a mary devine this we are not sure about, we believe they lived near or in eritruria a village set up by wedgewood we believe mary was a pottery artist, as all my parents and his brothers and my mothers family are deceased im finding it hard to shed a light
it seems that my grandfather moved to the northwest at or about 1910,we believe his father was in the shoe trade in some way i have a memmory of a conversation wiyh my father as a small boy about my name and where it came from he told me he was from staffordshire and his fathers family were tradesmen butchers and shoemakers , i know its a long shot but who can tell whos out there,and there is a hell of a lot of families with a richard in them in the staffs area,
