I am interested in any info: regarding my grandfather William Lawrence Toomey - he was born in pa March 1879 - Also very interested in his parents. They are listed as Michael Toomey (b. Ireland) & Sara Boyle (Boyd?) According to 1900 census William was boarding with a cousin James Curran - Early 1900's William moved to Buffalo and started his career as an engineer for the South Buffalo Railway - He married Mary A. Craver (from Hazelton Pa.) He died in 1944 in Harrisburg en route for medical treatment for a heart ailment/tb - address he listed as staying at in York Pa on Philadelphia street (possibly sibling's address or one of his kids?) William & Mary's children - Gerald, Marian (Kinsella), Margaret (Mclaughlin), Cecelia Alice (hughes), William, Katharine (Cramer) & Charles. Gerald, Marian & Margaret lived in Pa - Harrisburg area(?)
