This is probably your great grandfather's obituary. I also have located him in the 1900 census and have found his World War I draft registration if you would be interested in having those. Although I don't know that we are related I have always thought there might be some connection in our Tooleys but haven't found it yet.

Mr. Albert TOOLEY - 276 Lyon Lake, Marshall, passed away Tuesday morning, August 17, 1976, in Marshall, Mich. Mr. TOOLEY was born August 30, 1886, in Howell, Mich., son of Albert and Delcina (PARKER) TOOLEY and lived most of his life in Sturgis. He graduated from Howell High School and played baseball for several semi pro teams in Michigan and Indiana and in 1910 played in Rochester, N.Y. in the International League and in 1911 moved to Brooklyn, N.Y. and played shortstop for the Brooklyn Dodgers of the National League. In 1920 he moved to Sturgis, where he played semi pro ball for the late C. L. Spence. Mr. TOOLEY was a retired machinist. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Bessie WIMBLES in 1956. Surviivng are 3 sons and 5 daughters, Albert A., Sturgis, Mrs. Lewis (Helen) CHAPMAN, Kirksville, Mo., Robert K., Saranac, Mrs. W. C. (Betty) MARIS and Edward H., both of Kalamazoo, Mrs. Max (Lucile) LINT of Marshall, Mrs. Maynard (Jean) ELY of Three Rivers, Mrs!
. John (Jacquelyn) RASOR of Mattson, Ill., 12 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Lucile FOHEY of Greenville, Mich.; several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Friday at 2 o'clock at the Langeland Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave., with Bishop Paul F. Zielke, of the Latter Day Saints Church, officiating. Interment, Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Friends may call at the Portage Chapel, where memorials may be made to the Michigan Heart Association. source: Kalamazoo Gazette Wed Aug 18, 1976
