Would like to hear from anyone researching these TOOLE family members:
Thomas TOOLE born about 1798 in IRELAND, married Sarah Ann (surname unknown) also born in IRELAND about 1800.
Lived in Sandy Hill, Kingsbury, Washington County, New York. Thomas listed on US Census in 1830, 1840. Thomas and Sarah listed on US Census 1850, 1860, 1870. Sarah only on US Census in 1880.
Children of Thomas and Sarah Ann, all born in New York:
*Thomas R TOOLE, born about 1826
John L TOOLE, born about 1828
Lewis (Louis) C. TOOLE, born about 1830
*Charlotte TOOLE, born about 1835, married John HUNTER
James TOOLE, born about 1836
Mary TOOLE, born about 1838
Hugh W TOOLE, born about 1842

Charlotte TOOLE HUNTER was my greatgreatgrandmother. Charlotte age 15 is listed on 1850 US Census in Kingsbury, New York, with her husband John HUNTER age 28 and son Philip S HUNTER age 6 months. Charlotte and John moved to San Francisco, CALIFORNIA, between 1856 and 1860. Charlotte's funeral home records list her father's name as Thomas Toole born IRELAND, her mother's name as Unknown born IRELAND. Charlotte died in 1916 and John in 1899; they are buried in Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma, CALIFORNIA.
It has taken years of searching to get this far. Is there anyone working on this line of TOOLE also? Anyone with information about Charlotte's siblings? Or her parents' immigration? Or where in IRELAND they came from?
