My wife is a Geneva Toole from probably a parallel branch. In unraveling her branch, we developed quite a bit about the, as we phrase them, other Toole's. I'll be happy to send you a Word file with all the info.

As we have it--the Irish of Geneva tended to recycle first names and live on the same streets so we may have cross-linked families.

Margaret is the d. of Patrick (1840-1904) and Mary Hopkins (1840-?) m.1860.

Patrick is s. of John O'Toole (1805-1885) and Margaret Ward (Peggy) 1808-1885.

Enough siblings to fill the town.

In reply to Cushman followup:

We also have some info on John J Toole's branch.

We have it that John J. is s. of Thomas Toole (1839-1909) and Mary Ann Burke (1842-1913), m.1861.

What we don't have is the link between Thomas 1839-1909, John O'Toole 1805-1885, and my wife's early ancestor:

Michael J. Toole 1842-1916 who married Mary [E.] Corcoran (1844-1916) in 1870. We show (from death records) Michael's father as Thomas [O']Toole married to Catherine Feeney.
