Ok Here's the puzzle. In l864 Sarah Wall died in Muscogee Co. Ga. Wm. L Tooke appeared and said that was his mother. She was born about 1792 and he was born in 1805. Still possible. The descendents of John Allen Tooke says that William L. Tooke is his son. Sarah married Jesse Wall abt. 1823 and had children from 1827 (Mary Ann) until 1836 (George W.) If John Allen didn't die until 1845 what happened? Sarah came into the marriage to Jesse a very wealthy woman who bought, sold and gave away land and slaves. Only a widow could have done that in that time and age. Please enlighten me! Jesse and Sarah are my GGG Grandparents.
