I am looking for anyone who may have a connection to Edmond Toohill who married Josephine Keefe. Edmond was educated in Canada and was a school teacher and farmer and possibly re-settled in Illinois where some of his sons settled. They were from the New York City area and had at least 4 sons, Edward, Daniel, John, and Patrick. The first three fought in the civil war and at least two of them died. Daniel and Patrick moved to the DeWitt and McLean county, Illinois area. Daniel then later joined the south in the conflict between the states and became one of the casualities. Patrick married Hanora Gleason, both are buried in bloomington. Illinois. If any of this sounds familiar please contact me. Thanks, Teresa Toohill-Runyon.
