Bart,
Yesterday I found a connection to the Toohey clan from Biddulph in the St. Patrick's R.C. parish records. My Doughertys married into the Cains, who married into the Tooheys.
From reading the posts, it appears that a lot of the group is researching the same extensive line. The Toohey connection is rather collateral for me but very interesting as I am discovering many intermarriages between the clans. Most of the Lucan/Biddulph families appear to have come from northern Tipperary.
The Toohey connection I have is thin.I only found the recorded marriage without any supporting information.
At St. Patrick's R.C. Church in Lucan, Ontario
Timothy Toohey married Nov. 4, 1891
to Cecelia Cain, born 1870.
No children show up in the St. Patrick's baptismal register, thus I suspect they left the area.Do these folks fit into any of your data?I look forward to hearing from you.
