My father died of a heart attack at age 74. He was born 5 April 1895, Atwater, Harrison Twp, Kandiyohi County, Minn & died 9 Dec 1969 of a heart attack. Was told he had an "enlarged heart". Residence at time of death was Eden Prairie (SW suburb of Mpls., Hennepin County, Minn). He died in Methodist Hospital, St Louis Park, Minn. (also a suburb of Mpls., Mn.) I have high colostral but under control with Rx Pravachol. I have had an overweight problem all my life, now weigh 221# & am 5'10" tall. However no heart problem to my knowledge. My dad smoked till his first heart attack, age 55 when he stoped smoking. I do not smoke, never did, & HATE smoking! My dad had a brother Art who I believe died of a heart attack in Seattle. He had 2 sons who also died of heart attacks at an early age. They were Dicky & Danny Tonsing. They had the"E" legallt droped from their names.
