Yes, there was a connection between the Cleveland and Minnesota families. Paul Edward Toensing, as a young lad, was sent to the relatives in Cleveland with some cattle to sell. He stayed longer than necessary and spent much of the money on a new car, a 1917 Liberty. There was also much to pay when he arrived back home. That car was put up on blocks in the barn and was still there in 1971 when I married his daughter.
