John TONKS/TUNKS from Gloucester

John Tunks ch.19 Apr 1846, Gloucester m. Caroline TUSTIN on 15 Sep 1867 at St. Nicholas, Glouc. They had the following children:
John William ch.5 Jul 1868, Mary Ann ch.14 Nov 1869 (both at St. Nicholas), Jane c.1872 and Henry c.1877.
Caroline died 12 Sep 1881 age 37yo.

After that John then married Sarah Jane BATE c.1853 in Bristol. I can't find any marriage, nor can I find any info on Sarah BATE. They had the following children:
Blanche c.1881, Florence c.1882, Edward (my grandfather) b.11 Jul 1887 and Sarah c.1893. I found this info on the 1901 Census.

Hoping to hear from any relatives researching these people.
