Hi Murray, as you typed to Jill Weekes if one does not ask one loses knowledge. Yes I have been answering Jill's request for Penwith Tonkin's.I gave her some names of reference only to find that was who she was working wihh but Nancy is not on the computer so I made connections once again. You will not find <OUR> family coming from Penwith. True it is on the same coast as Trevanaunce but further South. The difference was that Penwith is or was a good fishing area whereas the other was mining, though attempts were made to ease their transport problems by building a wharf and so on but no sooner up than down by huge storms. There are still signs of it left, though the beach is now a popular swimming area. Thanks for the poems.
regards Peg Tonkin
