Hi Dan,
All I really know about Catherine Jane Tong (Tongue) is that she was born on 1 April, 1836,in Ohio(State or County ?). Daughter of Henry Tong who was born in Ohio (State or County?), who was the son of William Tongue, born 1756 in MD and died in 1846.
As far as being able to prove the information, she was born on 1 April, 1836 (the date she celebrated her birthday) She married Carlyle Jackson Creaglow on 30 Sept., 1855 in Fairfield County, Ohio. She died on 16 November, 1908 in Chicago, IL. One of her children was named Myrtle Darletta Tong, born 9 November, 1872 in Buena Vista, Fairfield county (?) Ohio.
If this fits, I would like to know more of what history you have.
