Unfortunately I haven't yet got my line [broadly feinied] back beyond about 1800 as yet. But I have a strong suspicion that all these Tong families were of the same clan. I can't get to the Kent records for the time being [nursing a badly broken leg] but when I do I'll see if your info helps me bridge some gaps.
