Jack..
I have old pictures of James Toner and Hattie East Toner. My Grandmother Harriet East left me info on the Thomas Toner marriage to Margaret Thorpe. It states Thomas Toner (Mother of Mary Toner) (married to Al Haynes).Thomas died in hospital of smallpox and she later married Henry Miller. Is this correct? It also states Hattie has no info on children Mary and Al Haynes. Hattie states Margaret Thorp-Toner-Miller had one child minnie. minnie married Fred Mendenhall, they had 2 girls Francis & margaret.
Harriet East states that Thomas Toner and his father came to Anerica from Glascow Scotland when thomas was a little boy.She believed there are other relatives in Scotland.
I have 9 typed pages from my Grandmother (Hattie East Toner)about the Toner & East Family.
Maybe we have a family connection thru Mary Toner and Al Haynes.
hope to hear from you
Shirley
