Hello Everyone,
I am trying to find some family history. My great-grandmothers name was Essie Thompkins/Tompkins. She was from Anderson, SC/ Colombia,GA. She was half Native American and half Irish. I am trying to find out what her Native American Tribal affiliation was. Her father, who was Native American, had the last name of Thomkins/Tompkins and was from the same region. My great-grandfathers name was John Chennault, also from the same region. I don't have much more information further back than this. If anyone has or knows any information I would be so appreciative.
