I'm researching a Henry Tomme.
Henry was the son of Joseph Tomme,Sr.RS.
I believe Henry married a Hannah Weaver before 1798.
One of their son's name was Othniel W. Tomme born about 1799.Henry and family were first in Warren county, Ga then Jefferson county, Morgan county, Upson county and finally Talbot county, where Henry died after 1850.
Hannah Tomme and son Othniel Tomme were in the 1860 Talbot census, she was 81 and he was 61. It possible that Hannah's father was Othniel Weaver.
Henry says he was born in South Carolina and Hannah in North Carolina. His father Joseph was in the Revolution and receive land in Washington county Georgia. That part of Washingtion became Warren and then Jefferson county.
His wife Mary pays tax on this land and then was sold by Henry around 1800.
I'm familiar with the research on Joseph Tomme, Jr, who was a brother of Henry.
Any information on this Henry Tomme would be appreciated.
