I have a bible that belonged to my great-grandfather, William E.A. Copp, that has a notation on a Jesse Tomes.
It states--Jesse Tomes--born January 21, 1880.
I have no idea why this is there because I am unaware of any kinship between the Copps and the Tomes family
There could also be a relationship between the Tomes and the Benton or Clark family.
The Copps lived in Izard County, Arkansas.
I would love to know who this is.
