I have been researching two probable brothers named Daniel T. Ellis and John T. Ellis who were both born in TN. Their father was probably Jonathon Ellis b. ca. 1780 in Union Co., SC who married Celia Bryant in SC or TN. I have been told by several people over the years that the middle initial "T" in the sons names was for "Tolleson" or "Tollison". I have noted the names John and Daniel Tolleson/Tollison in Union Co. SC and am wondering if there is a connection there somewhere.
