In July 2003 almost 200 Toliver/Tolliver family members from 10 states traveled to Morehead, KY for a Reunion. On June 25-26, 2004, there will be another Tolliver Reunion at the Carl D. Perkins Community Center on Route 32 in Morehead, KY. Some of us will meet to set up tables, etc. on Friday at 2:00. At 5:30 we will eat at Ponderosa and then go back to the Center for informal visitation. On Saturday, June 26, registration will begin at 9:30 at the Community Center. There will be a potluck lunch at noon. Entertainment will be provided by the Frantz Family Fiddlers from Xenia, OH and Roy "Speedy" Tolliver, a folk musician from Arlington, VA. Both are "Tollivers." Dr. J. D. Reeder will speak about "What We Know About the Five Tolliver Brothers from NC." This refers to Moses, Jesse, John, Charles, and William in the 1700's. At 6:00 we will again go to the Ponderosa. A block of 30 rooms is being held at the Ramada Inn until June 4. Call 1-800-373-9199 to make your reservation. Tell them you are with the Tolliver Reunion.
