Sorry for this very late follow up, but I'm interested in a Thomas Tolhurst, married to Lucy, with daughter Angelina.
In 1861 England Census they are at 4 Princes Street St George's Southwark, with Thomas Tolhurst's birthplace stated as Kent, Cranbrook. His occupation is Hair Draper.
Does this tally with any of your Tolhurst families?
I haven't been able to locate him prior to 1861, nor find his marriage details to Lucy.
Any further information would be gratefully received.
