My name is Roger Tennessen. I live in West Bend WI. I have been researching my Ancestors for about 10 years. My Tennessen (Toennessen) ancestors came from Oedekoven, Bonn, Cologne, Germany. Before about 1800, most of them were listed as Toennes. Between about 1775 and 1825 both names were used, swometines in the same family. I'm wondering if there is any relationship connection with Tennies or Toennies?
