I would love to get a scanned copy or photographic copy of that letter. Anyway you could do that?

I don't believe there is a parish Gileade; so perhaps that is an error of transcription that would be revealed by the actual letter.

tHERE IS A PARISH CALLED KILLEAD not far from where most of the Todds lived in the early 1800s and earlier.
