Is this a reference to Laurens Co., SC? My ancestor was Jane Todd Boyd, d.1820-1825 Union Co., SC, close to the Laurens Co. line. I have just uncovered a letter from Joseph Boyd, s/o Jane Todd and John Boyd, that says her father was James of N. Ireland, Antrim, Parish Gilade. The Boyds came to America in 1769. On the ship were also Todds that may have been her brothers. Would love to have more info on the Todds of Laurens Co., SC.
