I have several Todd's from Sevier county in my family tree. The earliest Todd is James, born 7 Dec 1775 in Laurens Co. SC and died in Hope, Hempstead Co AR.He had nine children born in S. Carolina and Georgia.Their names are William Earl, John A., Martha M. James W., Alfred Delwin, Cynthia Arminta, Leander C., John P. and Charles M.Before his oldest son, William Earl, was married the Todd clan moved to DeQueen, Sevier Co, AR.All of the children's marriages that I have recorded occured there.
I'm decended from Alfred Delwin who had eight kids, all in the DeQueen area until about 1930ish.
I've notice there are plenty of Todds in the world and these may be of no relation to yours, but I hope they are.
