What does Iowa and Whyoming have to do with your query?
I have been tracing a family with the footsteps you mention and similar names.
John Todd was b. 1819 in PA. he was in Jackson Co., Iowa bef. 1849 as he was married to Elizabeth Smith 20 Jan., 1849, Jackson Co., Iowa.
It appears John might have had a brother Henry Todd who also settled in Jackson Co., IA.
By 1880 John Todd resettled in Cass Co., Iowa where he and his wife spent the remainder of their lives. John d. 18 Sept 1892 his wife Elizabeth 20 Jan 1895. Both are burried in Lowmen Cemetery, Cass Co., IA.
John and Elizabeth had a son Henry Luther who was married to a Sarah E. who were living in Montgomery Co., IA in 1880.
They resettled in Bates Co., MO and then Sheridan Co., WY.
Both are buried in the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery, Sheridan, WY.
Where in PA. was John Todd born?
Who were his parents?
Thanks.
