Yes,this is my family as I just found out today from some census research. Virginia's mother's maiden name may have been Garrett sp. The family was listed in the 1850 Hickory Co., Mo. US census p.56 as follows:
Toby, Samuel 34 M Farmer Ia
" Virginia 33 F Ia
" William 10 M Ia
" Peter 9 M Ia
" Lucy 8 F Mo
" Cynthia 7 F Mo
" Nancy 5 F Mo
" Amy 3 F Mo
" Sarah 3/12F Mo

I believe that Ia actually means Indiana, which matches what little preious info that I had. Would like any info on ancestors and would be glad to share what I have on descendants. Please e-mail too.
