Hi everybody
I'm a spaniard which second surname is Tovias (other members of my familiy have Tobias instead). I have Tobias repeated in 9th or 10th position too and I always wondered about the origin of this surname and my familiy.
Anybody knows if has a christian or jewish origin??
I have heard that some anusim wears this surname but I don t understand why I convert or "marrano" could wear a hebrew surname after 1492.
Idem for "Seves"
