Kathy,

       Wish I could be more helpful but I really know very little.

       Elida's father had an Aunt Delia TOBEY. Delia was married to David DEVOL in New York state and the family migrated to Iowa @1845. Don't know if Delia and Edgar were related only that the TOBEY name is not a common one and I thought it worth a shot.

       I have some possible information on Delia's parents but am unaware of a connection to Maine.
