I heard about the Tobey Company (furniture) recently on TV. Does anyone have any information about Matthew Tobey. The family story is that he met his wife during the Chicago fire. They moved to Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a barber - had three children, William Howard Tobey, Catherine and Julia. I do not know anything else about the family. Would love to hear more!!
