The parents of Joseph Higdon were Gabriel and Rebecca Davis Higdon. Their children: Margaret (Wilkerson); Joseph; Gabriel; Sarah (Bake); Isham D.; Rebecca (Redenbaugh); and Arthur B.
Gabriel Higdon's (the elder) parents were Joseph and Margaret Holbrook. Their children: Gabriel; John; Mary/Polly; Susannah; Jane T.; Hays; Ishmael; Joseph jr.; Margaret; Thomas; Enoch; and Sarah.
Joseph's (the elder) parents were John and Mary Montgomery.
Rebecca Davis Higdon's parents were Isham and Charlotte Hays Davis, and Isham's parents were Henry and Mary Marriott. I have the Davis line a long ways back.
I have a Bible record found on the internet regarding the Higdons, plus a will with many names.
