MARTIN V. RIDDLE was born Oct 23, 1836 in Lebanon, Tennessee according to his obituary in the Fayetteville Observer. He died Jnune 23, 1917. Jemima Scivally died withour will or heirs in 1893. Martin V. Riddle inherited half a share of her estate. We know that Jemima Scivilly(b 1806),Verlinda Wade(b 1808) and Ellenor Smith(b 1796 Md) were sisters - children of William Woodward and his wife Jemima Jacobs who were born and married in Maryland and then were in Wilson Co. Tennessee. Jemima sold his estate in Wilson County Jan. 20, 1814. Would like to know the parents of Martin V. Riddle - It is possible that his mother was Anne E Riddle, (b1799) and buried in the Franklin Cemetery in Franklin County. Any information on these families would be appreciated and will share information on the Woodward and Jacobs families.
