Would like to share information with anyone connected to the following Wilson County family:

John W. PEYTON, 1782-1837, married Frances KELLEY, 1785-1851. She was the daughter of Dennis Kelley and Elizabeth THOMPSON.

Who were the parents of John W. Peyton and where did he come from?

The children of John and Frances Kelley Peyton (as named in his Will) were:

1. Lavina Sena P. Peyton, born abt 1807, married James WARNICK.

2. John M. Peyton born 1810, died 1858. Don't know wife's name.

3. James Harvey Peyton, 1812-1852, married Nancy Maria MCFARLAND. They were my direct ancestors. Nancy was the daughter of James Menees McFarland and Dicey BILBRO. Have PHOTO of James and Dicey Bilbro McFarland.

4. Thomas C. Peyton, died July 1847. Spouse, if any, unknown to me.

5. Joseph M. Peyton, 1820-1857, married Elizabeth WEIR, daughter of John Weir and Elizabeth CHANDLER.

6. Elizabeth Peyton married James H. SCOLES 1844.

7. George W. Peyton married Temperance P. HALL 1847.

8. Sterling Brown Peyton, 1821-1866, married Abagail BABB.

Would like to know more about the children and grandchildren of John and Frances Kelley Peyton. My direct lines are thru James Harvey Peyton. Have info to share on the Kelley and McFarland families. Thanks.
