Seeking info. re: my dad's ancestors, siblings, and related descendants. My dad = Peter Patrick Davis, born in 01/1925 in Taylor, Tx; died in 1998 in San Antonio, Tx. His father = James __ Davis, orig. of Lebanon (Wilson Co), TN, but who lived most of adult life in Dallas, Tx.; died in abt. 1970-1973 in Dallas. James' half bro. in TN was named Andrew Jackson Davis, born 1907, died in 1973 in TN. Their father = JAMES LEE DAVIS of Lebanon, Tx; died in Gallatin, Tx, per Alexander Funeral Home online.
Estimate James Davis (middle name/initial unknown) was born between 1900 and 1906, as 1st wife Inez M. (Imhoff) Davis was born in 1902 or '03 in Manor (Travis Co) Tx. She died unexpectedly undr 2nd married name of Inez Crow, in 1935, leaving 5 orphans: my dad (lived entire life in SAT); Michael J. Davis (born 05/1926 in Thrall, Tx) (navy man who lived mainly in either CA or later, Ft Worth); Jeanette M. Davis (born 08/1922 in Thrall) (lived primarily in Dallas)(1st married name = Davis, then 2nd, Neighbors) (2nd husband = Dewey Neighbors) (Jeanette's only child Timothy Shannon Davis died in motorcycle accident in Tarrant Co., Tx in 1976); Oscar Henry Davis, born on 08/05/1927, likely somewhere in Tx; and Mary Ann Crow (born in 05/1930 in SAT). Believe Oscar Davis and Mary Ann Crow are stil alive. Would love to communicate with JAMES LEE DAVIS branch descendants in TN. Have seen inquiries of a Ms. Sherry Davis Eatherly, who is apparently granddaughter of Andrew Jackson Davis, whose most recent postings are dated from years 2000 and 2001), email address no longer good.
Oscar H. Davis is known to have lived with Jeanette in Gregg Co., Tx after Dewey and Tim's deaths, and also after that, back in Ft Worth. Mary Ann Crow, whose father was Shannon Crow (career army), last heard from by Crow family in Yell Co. Arkansas abt 5 years ago They are also looking for her. She is remembered by Crow cousin Betty Burnett to have last been living somewhere in West Virginia or Virginia. Married name unknown; unknown also whether she has any children.
