You know this sounds so good, I'm almost afraid to think that we might have a connection.
We have a ?(possibly Ann) Neely, daughter of Jackson Neely, married to Henry Creswell in York Co. SC. I had a Brown reseacher who thought David's parents could be Matthew Brown. I have a Neely researcher that says
he believes that Ann married to Henry Creswell is Jackson Neely Jr daughter.
Jane Creswell married David Brown in 1809 in Wilson County, TN. They had 14 children.
Hugh, James L, Jane, Samuel D, Robert, and Amanda. They had 8 daughters that we haven't any names.
