I'm looking for the father of Jane B. Cummings b.Jan 1796 in the area of Roane Co. Tn. before Tn. became a state. It was considered either NC or U.S. Territory S.of Ohio. She married Alvis Sellars and lived in Wilson Co.TN. There was a George Cummings in the 1820 Wilson Co. Census, also Charles and William Cummings. I believe one of these are her father. Jane is my ggg-grandmother.
