I am trying to locate the marriage records for my gg-grandparents, Andrew/Andy C. Carter and Frances/Fanny Kemp, as well as any information that would indicate which Kemp family Frances belongs to
Andrew Carter and Frances Kemp m. bet. 1866-67 (I think).
Also, Frances Kemp's true first name may be recorded as starting with a "J", as her name is inscribed on her eldest son's gravemarker as J.F. Carter, however there is never any mention of her name being anything other than Frances or Fanny on any census records.
If you can offer any help, advise, or even a good guess on how to locate these marriage records, it would be greatly appreciated.
