Hugh, I am trying to figure out if the James Adams listed as marrying Jenny B Thomas in Wilson Co TN is my ancestor or not. Funny, my James Adams was born in TN abt 1800 or so, and married Catherine Thomas, who we believe was born about 1804. That would have made her very young to be married in 1813! I wonder what the youngest age of marriage would have been then?! I am sure they needed parental approval for a young girl. Seeing your Dorothy was married in 1818, she was young too at her marriage, so maybe this could be the right marriage record. Oh I wish I knew for sure!

Elise, MN
