Hello fellow researchers of Williamson Co. TN

My ancestor James RAY originally received his land
grant from N.C. in Davidson County which then became
Cheatham. He sold out there about 1813 and moved
into Williamson. From his sons blacksmithing ledger
I have found the notation Nolensville, Williamson Co. TN
apparently written in a moment of reflection of memory.

This James Ray would have died before 1818 as his sons
were apprenticed out in 1817 to Mr. LeMasters a Blacksmith of Maury County and the Widow removed into Kentucky.

Would appreciate any Cemetery or Church record or Land
record of James RAY of the vicinity of
Nolensville @ 1813-1818.
THANKS.
