Hello Edward-
Always glad to hear from other Colston researchers. The spelling may be cofusing you up with the soldiers. Someone told me they had found about 20+ spellings. I have the same in my family. The David, James, and Solomon Colston CSA soldiers, are brothers; but names spelled differently. I will check my books for these names.
Would you mind to give me your connection to your Colston family line?
Thanks
gladys
