William Earl TYWATER

William Earl Tywater, 67, died Saturday, Feb. 12, at University Hospital in Cincinnati. Mr. Tywater was born in Williamson County and was a resident of Franklin. He was the owner and operator of Earl's Fruit Stand and Pumpkinland for many years. He was a member of the Williamson County-Franklin Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Merchants Association and the North American Farmers Direct Marketing Association. He was a deacon and member of Emmanuel Prince of Peace Church.

Survivors include his wife, Ann Tywater; two daughters, Cheryl (Sherry) Enoch and her husband Jesse and Tammy Wilkerson and her husband James; his mother and stepfather, Nettie and Oscar Pruitt, all of Franklin; two brothers, Ed Tywater of Columbia and Leon Tywater of Franklin; a sister, Inez Jones of Fairview; five grandchildren, Amanda Hagan and her husband Terry, Ben Enoch and Lacy, Logan and Landrianna Wilkerson; sisters-in-law; a brother-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 16, at 2 p.m., at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home with Elder Sue Hutchinson, Elder Tim Inman and Elder Janice Inman officiating. Burial will follow in Williamson Memorial Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be Jesse Enoch, Ben Enoch, Terry Hagan, Logan Wilkerson, Andy Tywater, Lee Tywater, James (Bubba) Tywater, Jason Greer, Danny Dodd and Prather Bright. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Wickerham, Gene Cravens, Betty Freeman, Ed Moody, Riley Greer, Robert Lee, Bobby Smith, Mayor Jerry Sharber and the Franklin Board of Aldermen, Fred Issac, Roger Caudill and Penny Royal Farm employees, Bill Kline, Steve Longamire, Stanley Trout, Fuller Arnold, Kevin Hosey, city of Franklin Police Department, Williamson County-Franklin Chamber of Commerce, WAKM radio station and its employees, Franklin Downtown Merchants Association and North American Farmers Direct Marketing Association. Visitation began at 6:30 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

Williamson Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
