1830 SIMMONS, PARKER, COX, BURGESS, ELLIOTT
Posted by: Barbara Holman (ID *****2782) Date: May 17, 2003 at 08:21:16
  of 1168

In the 1830 census, I found 8 of my family names living close to each other! Wm BURGESS and James ELLIOTT are proved, but I havent been able to attach the following: John C SIMMONS, Mary PARKER, Jesse COX, Joseph CROCKETT, Wm PARKER or Thomas A SIMMONS. Our Simmons became SEAMAN/SEAMANS later (in Van Buren County, TN). If you are from these families I would love to compare notes. Thank you. We also connect with SPARKMAN and McMATH.
